Member Update

Well, they say time flies when you having fun! It’s hard to believe it’s April already. I hereby provide members with a business update. Since the official amalgamation date in early December 2024, I can advise members of the following.

In the agreed MOU, we are committed to capital upgrades to the value of $1.25 million. So far we have committed approximately $400,000 in what we considered were critical upgrades the business. This has included:

• Purchase of new gaming product.
• Replacement of entire Club roof.
• Replacement of Club’s Air Conditioning System.
• Replacement of the Club’s Gaming/ membership server.
• Replacement of POS server
• Installation of major Solar Project on Club roof.

The following priorities are now being carried over the next (6) six months.

• New furniture throughout entire Club.
• Upgrade of outdoor terrace area.
• Upgrade to entire gaming floor.
• Upgrade to bottom level function room.
• Upgrade of kitchen facilities.
• Re lodgement of previous Development Application to have another deck added to the Club.

In addition, all Mollymook staff have now transitioned to the SJPBC family. The Mollymook Beach Bowling Club Advisory Committee is now formed because of newly introduced By-Laws. The members of this Committee are Craig Wise, Andrew Jarvis, Michael Keegan and Bernard Jones.
